Taking photos and bringing them from a RAW image to the final image is a fun process, or at least I enjoy it. I'm always learning new ways of doing different things and making my images better. Something I hadn't done before is collaborated images with someone, and when the opportunity came I thought it'd be fantastic to be apart of it and see the outcome.  My uncle Tim Lee was checking out my images at a family gathering and thought it would be fun to do some renditions from my images using mixed media (such as watercolors, spray paint, pastels, etc) , and I agreed. Here are a few of the images photo & paintings... I think they're awesome personally, I hope you all enjoy them as well.

...and two more from Tim Lee that were not from my photographs

Feel free to leave comments and feedback. Would you like to see more art like this?

From time to time I'd like to profile someone or something that is doing some good, while this can be difficult to find the time to do, I did manage to meet up with Jennifer Evie recently to not only see how she does all of her amazing work, but also to see what this thing she is always talking about is all about. What I am referring too is Project Cinderella, a group based out of the Gifts To Give donation center located in New Bedford and Hingham, MA. Their mission statement is to help young ladies who cannot afford a dress/gown to be able to have something amazing to wear for prom, birthdays or any other event where formal wear is needed.

Where Jennifer comes in is she organizes photoshoots from top to bottom, this includes a professional photographer, make up artist and hair stylist all donating their time and efforts to help out a bit. Not only does she organize all the details of the shoot, but she also helps guide new models to be successful in poses and while working in the field. The benefit is not only to display some of the amazing dresses they have to offer, but to spread the good word around Facebook and the rest of the internet that if you donate your old dresses that young ladies will get to smile at the special events they will be attending because they will be dressed beautifully.

Here are two shots from the Project Cinderella shoot I observed at and took some behind the scene shots while photographer Tracy King donated her time.

I even managed to sneak a shot in during the shoot

So as you can see, this is a good cause that is easy to help out if you have a nice old dress laying around collecting dust in the closet. If you are interested in helping there is multiple ways you can get in touch to help.
